New Beers and Wines for the Summer!
posted by jacob to General | 14:09:54
We are really excited about the promise of warm sunny days this summer. We have chosen some new beers and wine in our line-up for summer afternoons and evenings on our patio.
Our new beers include:
Spaten Pilsner- a classic Bavarian pilsner, bottom fermented. It is light, crisp, and very refreshing! (Our favorite beer for a summer day!)
Schneider Weiss- a German hefeweizen beer. It is a rich amber color with a malty flavor and classic clove and banana finish
Sierra Neveda Extra IPA- a bold IPA. It is loaded with flavors highlighting citrus, pine, and herbal qualities of whole-cone American hops
Rogue Dead Guy Ale- an ale made in the style of a German Maibock. It is a rich honey color with a malty aroma hearty flavor.
New Belgium Trippel- a blond ale with bold hops, and long fermentation. It is smooth and complex spiced with a hint of coriander.
Our new wines include:
Argyle Pinot Noir- aged for 8-9 month in an oak barrel this Oregon Pinot Noir. It has a medium ruby-color with an enticing bouquet of toast, cinnamon, rose petal, cherry, and cranberry and a concentrated fruit finish. (It is one of our favorites!)
Argento Malbec- A malbec form Argentina. It’s deep dark violet in color and offers powerful aromas of blackstone fruit and notes of chocolate, with a lasting finish.
Barnard Griffin Reserve Rose- a dry rose with an edgy level of acidity. It has strawberry, cherry, watermelon, and orange flavors. (This is our favorite wine for the summer!)
